Practice
I am a strategic, business-oriented attorney with more than sixteen years of experience spanning employment law, corporate legal operations, and civil rights litigation. I have built and led both a boutique law practice and a B2B legal technology platform, representing public employees, emerging companies, and high-growth startups across Illinois and beyond.
I advise clients on the full spectrum of labor and employment issues, including Title VII, the ADA, the FMLA, the ADEA, Section 1983, and whistleblower protections. I litigate cases from investigation through appeal in both state and federal courts, including the Seventh Circuit and the Illinois Supreme Court. I serve as General Counsel to FOP Lodge 219, helping law enforcement navigate internal investigations, union disputes, constitutional claims, and administrative proceedings.
Clients come to me when the stakes are high: civil rights are in jeopardy, reputations are at risk, or the legal system feels inaccessible. Whether the matter is a severance negotiation, an internal policy build, or complex litigation, I bring a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset to every engagement.

How the first conversation works
The first conversation is about the facts, the timeline, and what is at stake. If GB Law can help, you will understand the next step. If not, you will get a straight answer.
